Strawberries and a leaf mould cage

We've had quite a busy weekend on the allotment, we managed to fill the whole skip up with rubbish!

On Saturday I worked on the corner of the allotment where we plan on having our composter bins and our leaf mould cage with my better half Lynda. Lots of soil and rubbish was dumped there so we had to dig it all out to level the bed.
My sister Sue planted the rest of the strawberries while my Mum and Dad dug over a bed each.

The strawberries filled the rest of this bed so she had to put some in the smaller bed next to it (see below)

On Sunday Sue and I went and built our leaf mould cage and we sieved some of the soil we dug out to top up some of the other beds

Plant 200 onion sets!

Dig another bed over

Sieve more soil

Meet more neighbours lol
